FAQ & Returns
A1. This is a very common problem. If the batteries installed are not fresh or fully charged rechargeable batteries, the controller will not operate correctly. You may have some things such as throttle working but no steering. This is usually due to batteries that need to be replaced. We recommend rechargeable batteries.
Also if the red and green light on the remote control are not on when the switch is turned on there might be a problem with the battery connections. If this occurs and the batteries are fully charged or new the terminals in the controller battery box may need to be bent out a little to make better contact with the batteries.
A2. If changing the batteries did not resolve the problem, you should inspect all the wiring on the vehicle. You should check the receiver to make sure the steering servo and electronic speed control are plugged in correctly. You could also try swapping the 2 plugs going into the receiver to see if that fixes or changes the problem in any way.
What is the warranty and return policy on Redcat Racing Products
A. All products can be returned for refund only (within 15 days of receipt) if they are unused and unopened. We do not accept returns on any product that has been opened or has had fuel installed.

Return Policy:
- Due to the nature of this hobby, we cannot take any returns if they are used and opened (must be in brand new condition)
- If returned opened and in used condition (examples below) they will be sent back with no refund. These items will then be considered USED condition.
Examples:
- Crash damage
- Component failure or premature wear as a result of crash damage
- Lack of maintenance, improper use or abuse
- Normal wear and tear of the product: e.g., worn-out drive train, drive shafts, suspension components, gears including spur, clutch, clutch-bell, clutch springs, brakes, bearings, belts and tires
- Water damage or problems resulting from water intake
Parts Problem
If you have a specific part problem, Finocchiaro's Hobby Outlet will determine if the issue is in question and will contact you within 1-3 business days after form submission @contact us form. If determined that the part or parts are covered under warranty, Finocchiaro's Hobby Outlet may ask for photos so we can contact our vendors accordingly.
*This warranty does not cover certain items listed below, damage caused by misuse or improper setup*.
*Examples of misuse are as follows: visible crash damage, evidence of running through mud/water, and modified cases/heat sinks on electronics.
Note: Non-factory connectors and/or soldering also constitutes misuse for all electronic components.
